Ronaldo: You forgive me
Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken to the media suggesting that the Old Trafford faithful have totally forgiven him for his flirting with the Real Madrid over the summer.
Ronaldo told The Sun: "In the game when I came back against Villarreal I wasn’t nervous but just a bit excited to see how the fans would react to me. Thank God things went well. This shows people have not forgotten all the good things we’ve done together and I’m very happy with that."
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored two goals since his return from ankle surgery however United are already braced for another Real Madrid assault with Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster last weekend stating that his hope is for Ronaldo to be playing at the Bernabeu by next summer.
