Rooney vows to continue goal streak

Wayne Rooney has declared that he is ready to continue his goal scoring exploits at domestic and European level - and take it onto the international stage.
Rooney scored his first goal against Bolton Wanderers having come on as a substitute the weekend before last. He then added to his total against Aalborg last Wednesday before netting the second in the two nil win over Blackburn Rovers last Saturday.
Rooney performance in all three games will come as no surprise to United fans who had to endure criticism of United's number 10 after England's dismal performance against Czech Republic in August. Although Theo Walcott scored a hattrick - Rooney put in a man of the match performance against Croatia last month.
